Battle of the Books
The West Babylon 
Public Library’s Battle of the Books team is hard at work preparing for this summer’s competition on Saturday, August 11.
The seven members of the team will be reading and practicing questions for the following books:
The Alchemyst by Michael Scott
The Black Book of Secrets by F.E. Higgins
Cosmic by Frank Cottrell Boyce
Eighth Grade Bites by Heather Brewer
Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins
The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney
The Battle of the Books summer competition is open to West Babylon School District residents entering grades 6-12. If you’re interested in joining next year’s team, speak with Ms. Agnello or Ms. Peters at the Reference Desk to have your name added to the list.
