{"id":121,"date":"2009-06-13T19:24:45","date_gmt":"2009-06-13T19:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wbpl.wordpress.com\/?page_id=112"},"modified":"2025-07-17T13:54:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T17:54:43","slug":"library-cards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wbab.suffolk.lib.ny.us\/redesign\/about\/library-cards\/","title":{"rendered":"How to get a Library card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are a West Babylon School District resident and do not have a West Babylon Public Library Card, please apply for one in the Library or <a href=\"https:\/\/wbab.suffolk.lib.ny.us\/redesign\/librarycard-application\/\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kindly present <strong>TWO<\/strong> of the following <strong>current (and\/or dated within the past 60 days)<\/strong> items which list both <strong>YOUR<\/strong> <strong>name and address<\/strong> and we will be happy to issue your Library Card.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NYS driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>NYS non-driver\u2019s ID<\/li>\n<li>NYS auto registration or insurance card<\/li>\n<li>Federal, State, County and Town Government issued ID<\/li>\n<li>Notarized lease on official form or letterhead<\/li>\n<li>Property tax receipt<\/li>\n<li>Property deed<\/li>\n<li>Business statements (utility, bank or credit card)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All children residing in the West Babylon School District may have a Library Card in their name.<\/p>\n<p>Young adults 18 years of age and older who are applying for an adult Library Card must provide their own <strong>two proofs of residency and<\/strong> <strong>proof of age<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each patron must present <strong>their own Library Card<\/strong> in order to use Library services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are a West Babylon School District resident and do not have a West Babylon Public Library Card, please apply for one in the Library or online.
