WBPL Community Garden

***Due to a high chance of rain we are postponing our Community Garden Program to Saturday, June 11***.

We’re starting a community garden in our Backyard for everyone to enjoy. We’ll be using some seeds from our Seed Library that are also available for you to take home and grow on your own. The community garden will have flowers to sustain and nourish our vital insect populations as well as vegetables that you can pick and take home once they’re harvested! Join us for programs throughout the season for gardening tips and tricks on how you can create your very own garden at home. Check out our community garden whenever you’re at the Library and be on the lookout for our community harvest this fall.

WBPL Community Garden Planting

Join us in planting our backyard community garden. We will be planting flowers and vegetables grown from seeds in our Seed Library. Help us create a beautiful space for our community to relax and enjoy. Wear old clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty; gardening tools will be provided. Teens will earn 2 hours of community service for participating. No registration required.
