Medicaid Enrollment Assistance

10 am-1:30 pm

The Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council will have facilitated enrollers trained by the NY State Department of Health at our Library to assist the aged, blind, and disabled populations with enrollment. Sign up will be first-come, first-served and is free of charge. For more information, call the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council at 631-435-3000. No registration required.

Senior Social Club: Scan and Restore Your Photo Memories

2-4 pm

Rediscover and enhance your treasured photographs in this hands-on workshop designed especially for seniors. Patrons will learn how to scan their photos, use Vivid-Pix Restore, an easy-to-use photo restoration program that enhances faded or worn images, and then save their restored photos to a flash drive. Bring 5-10 of your own photos to the class. Registration is underway.

Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Share tips and learn from each other as you work on your creations. Beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome! It’ll be “sew” fun! *Materials not provided.
