Drop in for an overview of the Library’s Makerspace. The Makerspace is an area that allows patrons an opportunity to produce projects using a variety of Library-owned resources including Cricut cutting machines, a poster printer, button makers, and more! No registration required.

In collaboration with New York State Senator Alexis Weik’s office, the Library will host the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office for a medication take-back event. Bring your expired or unused medications for safe disposal, helping prevent groundwater pollution and keeping them out of the hands of young children.

Please note: liquids and needles will not be accepted.
No registration is required. Patrons will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sit & Stitch (Drop In)

Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Share tips and learn from each other as you work on your creations. Beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome! It’ll be “sew” fun! *Materials not provided.

Defensive Driving

Attend this class to potentially earn an auto insurance discount and reduce violation points. A $35 non-refundable check or money order (no cash), payable to Empire Safety Council, is due within 48 hours to secure your spot. Space is limited. One registration per person.
