Makerspace Drop In

Drop in for an overview of the Library’s Makerspace. The Makerspace is an area that allows patrons an opportunity to produce projects using a variety of Library-owned resources including Cricut cutting machines, a poster printer, button makers, and more!

Medicaid Enrollment Assistance

10 am-1:30 pm

The Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council will have facilitated enrollers trained by the NY State Department of Health at our Library to assist the aged, blind, and disabled populations with enrollment. Sign up will be first-come, first-served and is free of charge. For more information, call the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council at 631-435-3000.

Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Share tips and learn from each other as you work on your creations. Beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome! It’ll be “sew” fun! *Materials not provided. No registration required.

Join us to discuss the difference between Medicare and Medicaid long-term care services. While Medicare is a federal health insurance for those 65 and older, long-term Medicaid provides the option of receiving care services at home or in a nursing facility based on eligibility requirements.
