Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Share tips and learn from each other as you work on your creations. Beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome! It’ll be “sew” fun! *Materials not provided.

Senior Advocate (In Person)

A Suffolk County Office for the Aging representative will be here to help with Medicaid, Senior ID Cards, food stamps & more. Patrons will be helped on a first come, first served basis.

Well Played (Drop In)

Do you like playing games with friends? Stop by to enjoy some of the new board games the Library has added our collection or bring your favorite game to share. Meet up with members of the community or bring your friends to enjoy our new community space.

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Mahjong (In Person)

2-3:30 pm

Do you have a basic knowledge of Mah Jongg and would like to learn more? If you are familiar with the card, have recently learned the game, or want to brush-up, this class is for you.  In six sessions you will further hone your skills of passing tiles and picking the right hand. Additionally, you will learn to strategize and play a more defensive game. Please bring a 2024 card to class and a set if you have one. Non-refundable/transferable fee: $12. Registration is underway.

Empire Defensive Driving (In Person)

10 am-4 pm

Attend this class and you may be eligible for an auto premium discount and reduction of violation points. A $35 non-refundable check or money order (NO CASH) payable to Empire Safety Council is due at sign-up. Please be aware that space is limited, and payment is due within 48hrs of registration to keep your spot. Registration is underway.
