WBPL Makerspace

Makerspace Drop In (In Person)

6-8 pm

Drop in for an overview of the Library’s Makerspace. The Makerspace is an area that allows patrons an opportunity to produce projects using a variety of Library-owned resources including Cricut cutting machines, a poster printer, button makers, and more! No registration requited.

Medicaid Enrollment Assistance (In Person)

10 am-1:30 pm

The Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council will have facilitated enrollers trained by the NY State Department of Health at our Library to assist the aged, blind, and disabled populations with enrollment. Sign up will be first-come, first-served and is free of charge. For more information, call the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council at 631-435-3000.

Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Essential Estate Planning for You and Your Parents (In Person)

Please join us as we discuss the importance of a health care proxy, a durable power of attorney, and a last will and testaments in estate planning. Many caregivers today are a part of the “sandwich generation.” This means that they are caring for families on their own while caregiving for aging loved ones. It is essential for all to have proper planning in place. Registration is underway.
