Makerspace Drop In (In Person)

Drop in for an overview of the Library’s Makerspace. The Makerspace is an area that allows patrons an opportunity to produce projects using a variety of Library-owned resources including Cricut cutting machines, a poster printer, button makers, and more!

Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Share tips and learn from each other as you work on your creations. Beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome! It’ll be “sew” fun! *Materials not provided.

Caring for Wildlife (In Person)

7-8 pm

Sweetbriar Nature Center is a wildlife rehabilitation facility that takes care of injured, sick, and orphaned animals. In this presentation, participants will meet some of their resident non-releasable animals (owl, opossum, falcon, and more) and find out their stories as well as learn what to do if they find an animal that might need help. Registration is underway.
