WBPL Makerspace

Makerspace Drop In
6-8 pm

Drop in for an overview of the Library’s Makerspace. The Makerspace is an area that allows patrons an opportunity to produce projects using a variety of Library-owned resources including Cricut cutting machines, a poster printer, button makers, and more!

 

Diamond Art

Recharge & Refresh: Parent Break Time Workshop

6:30-7:30 pm

Designed to help parents reduce stress, ease guilt, and prevent burnout, including a calming diamond art activity. Registration is underway.

 

Middle eastern, Arabic or Mediterranean appetizers table concept with falafel, pita flatbread, bulgur and tomato salads, grilled vegetables, stuffed grape leaves,olives and nuts.

Medicaid Enrollment Assistance
10 am-1:30 pm

The Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council will have facilitated enrollers trained by the NY State Department of Health at our Library to assist the aged, blind, and disabled populations with enrollment. Sign up will be first-come, first-served and is free of charge. For more information, call the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council at 631-435-3000.

Unleash your creativity and join our drop-in craft club! Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any other needlework project that you’re working on. Share tips and learn from each other as you work on your creations. Beginners and experienced stitchers are welcome! It’ll be “sew” fun! *Materials not provided.

Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae

We’ll whip up batches of Butterscotch and Hot Fudge Sauces. We’ll supply ice cream, whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles and cherries while you supply the creativity. Non-refundable/transferable program fee: $5. Registration is underway.
