The Children’s Department at the West Babylon Public Library is a place for children to learn, grow, and explore. The collection has a wide range of materials including books, audiobooks, DVDs, and online resources for ages birth to grade 5 and their parents/caregivers.

Join us for free programs throughout the year for children birth to grade 5. We have something for everyone! Storytimes, Arts and Crafts, STEM, Summer Reading Clubs, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, 500 Books Before Graduation, Monica the Giraffe, and much more!

Activity Cart:

Dozens of take and make crafts – just for kids. Work on different puzzles, coloring pages, and activities.

Board Games:

Browse through different board games to play at your leisure.

Live Streams:

We have a different nature live stream each month! Check out different animals and fish in their natural habitats.

iPads & Computers:

Play games, work on homework, and have fun on our iPads and computers. Sorry adults – kids only!

In-House S.T.E.A.M Kits:

Did you know we have lots of toy & science based kits for you to use while you’re at the Library? Check out the binder we have in the Children’s room for all the activities and toys available.
